Food and refreshments will be available for sale. Visitors can tour period-furnished historic Texas homes\, emjoy theatre performances and watch folk life presentations\, as well as demonstrations of blacksmithing\, woodworking\, folk dancing\, lace making\, and pioneer encampment. For children there will be old-fashioned crafts and games\, a petting zoo\, and even a Weihnachtsmann (German Santa Claus)!. Amid folk life presentations and theatrical performances\, you might even see! Featured musical entertainment will include The German Singers and the Celtaire String Band. Winedale offers a tangible link to the Texas past through its architecture and decorative arts collections\, as well as the documented histories of its buildings\, owners\, and occupants. Over the last decade\, the Briscoe Center has funded and managed a number of major projects to preserve the historic buildings and other facilities at Winedale.
