DESCRIPTION:For an exciting evening of dinner and gaming\, join us for our annual Casino Night & Dinner on Saturday\, February 4th from 6 to 10 pm at the Austin County Fairgrounds. Your $60 entry fee brings you dinner and dessert catered by Yani's Steakhouse\, a beverage mug for the evening\, and $10\,000 in CASA BUCKS for gaming!  \n\nThere will be lots of winners ... door prizes\, raffles\, a silent auction and you can spend your CASA BUCKS at the end of the evening on some amazing prizes.  BUT because of you\, THE BIGGEST WINNERS WILL BE THE CHILDREN WE SERVE!  Your support helps the mission of our program in the training and supervision of our CASAs   Court Appointed Special Advocates. \n\nWe are appointed to 100% of the cases of children in CPS custody in the 4 counties we serve - Austin\, Colorado\, Waller and Washington.  Our goal is to have a CASA for each and every child\; and with generous individuals like you\, who understand the difference a CASA can make in the life of a child\, every day we get closer to that goal. Research shows that children with CASA volunteers are substantially less likely to spend time in long-term foster care\, more likely to be adopted\, and half as likely to re-enter foster care. The child in foster care who has a CASA has the prospect of a brighter future than the child who does not.\n\nThrough November 2016\, we have served 175 children.  Our amazing advocates have spent almost 3\,000 volunteer hours and have driven over 40\,000 miles to serve the children in our community. \n\nThe tickets go fast\, so plan to get yours soon!  You can stop by the CASA office in Brenham at 2309 S.
